Finally the sun stays in charge of the sky. A day that brings life back to us after all this rain.Another interval session on the treadmill. Another day without pain in my knee and where we both upped the speed a little. It’s not like you have to increase a lot every time, but if you’re able to increase one percent a week maybe, think what kind of effect that is over a whole year.

After breakfast we went straight to the sun beds by the pool. We brought everything we needed and just soaked in the sun. We stayed there for almost seven hours before going back up to chill out and cool down. Basically a short working day day by the pool. We went down to the beach to see if it was possible to snorkel there today. Turned out the water was full of garbage that’s been brought here by the wind and waves the last few days. Not anything I wanted to walk into.

We did another round of Indian food for dinner. The third time in a week now, so you better believe it’s good, before going back to our room.

We pray for another sunny day tomorrow so we can visit a pepper farm. I’ve repeatedly been asked to go where the pepper grows in my life. Seems like I’ve finally arrived. Vietnam is the world’s largest pepper exporter. The pepper here on Phu Quoc is among the best you can get. We’ll try to get a car to take us to a farm tomorrow.
