World’s most sweaty night is over. Holy crap. You remember “Land of confusion“, by Genesis? That kind of sweaty.
Still it’s the best nights sleep in a while. Also happy birthday to Torild, Katja’s mum.
Katja goes out for a morning session of Tai Chi. There’s a session every morning at eight and she joins in at first opportunity. She comes back full of life and energy as always and it rubs off on me to get me down for breakfast.
Three small pancakes with strawberry jam is all I muster. With swallows of water in between each bite and a constant fighting of the gagging reflex. Katja goes it in the sun while I get an hour of sleep afterwards.
We eat muesli in the room for lunch. The milk here is so so, but passable. I got down and joined Katja for a couple of hours in the sun afterwards.

Katja got an old man to give her a foot massage, as he claims he can check for health issues by pressing under her feet. She is happy afterwards as he concluded she’s perfectly healthy. Good that makes one of us.
Back in the room I see I am getting rashes. If not all the other shit is enough I have to deal with this to? It’s not extremely itchy, but annoyingly enough. Thank you very much.

Dinner is had at a nearby street food court, recommended by Mr Foo, Katja’s foot massage guy. First meal in ages that really tastes good. Kebab in pita with fries. Gotta take a win where I got one.

Back in the room we watch a little TV before it’s lights out.
“There are going to be peaks and valleys in everything – in your marriage, in your job, in your life. So just enjoy the peaks and ride out the valleys. Just try not to do anything too rash.”
