Yoga in the mountains – last day

After a pretty good nights sleep, breakfast tastes good. Porridge is a great way of getting today’s energy up.
Katja goes of to Ashtanga class while I pre-pack for the trek. I see I’ve over-packed back home and loose a couple of shorts and a set of trousers that’s hopefully not needed. We’ll be able to load off 10 kg each to the sherpas and I need to sort what to carry myself. Continue reading

Yoga in the mountains festival day 1

Wow! What a storm full night. Flashes, thunder and heavy rain. Thanks for postponing it until we were in the room.
I’ve had better nights than this one. With a combination of the thunderstorm, one (I do believe) mosquito, pigeons, heat, humidity and headache. Good thing we learned yesterday that “good or bad, beautiful or ugly – it’s all temporary”. Continue reading

Kathmandu – the start of our Nepalese adventure

And the blog is back up!
After more than a year and a half we’re back online. Lots have happened since our return back to Norway, but the writing stopped as soon as we stepped onto solid ground back home.

We’ve done a few smaller trips, but this is the first long haul in a while.

I’m writing this as we’re waiting for our third and final flight on our way to Kathmandu. Yup, we’re going to Nepal, Baby! Continue reading
