For some of us it’s a rest day today. That means me. Katja went of to yoga as I went back to bed to, as I just wrote, rest.
Slow start on the day, but still early risers. We got to finish and sent in the Visa application for Myanmar. Good thing the world is getting more digital. Continue reading
After a couple of long posts I guess it’s okay to just release a short one. We slept in this morning after Katja’s birthday yesterday.
For all nice people the sun shines on their birthday. That’s a saying from my youth (which I guess makes it an old proverb by now.) We woke this morning to bright sunshine in Manila. Of course, it’s Katja’s birthday.
Training in Luneta park with GM Rodel starts at 6’ish on Sunday’s. We set the alarm and got up before Manila woke up, or probably went to bed.
I woke up this morning to Katja’s rummaging in the bedroom. I told her yesterday that I’m taking a yoga free day today, but she wants more yoga. She informed me that it’s raining and that our planned trip to Intramorus (the old town) is probably not going to happen. Let’s plan something else, then.
One of the most characteristic objects of Manila are the Jeepny’s. The colorful long vehicles used as a public transportation. On our trip to Greenhills we started out on one of these.
So another day begins. This time by Katja going out for water and coming back with two caffe latte’s. Gotta love that girl.
Katja is slowly getting better but there is still a bug or two to beat down. Today we go for yoga for the first time in Manila.
Katja is better from the cold, but not quite over it yet. She got up at 05:00 when she couldn’t sleep anymore, while I slept a little longer. Katja got out and around the corner to a coffee shop and came back with two large coffees. The day could begin.
