After a couple of long posts I guess it’s okay to just release a short one. We slept in this morning after Katja’s birthday yesterday.
We did some read up on Myanmar as we plan to go there next. Myanmar has several nice places to visit and we found both written material and YouTube videos showing of the country in a good way. They now offer e-visa which makes it so much more convenient for us.
Katja did a yoga session while I try to ride out this cold. When she came back we did lunch and then headed towards the Chinese Garden in Luneta park for a training session with Gerald. I’m sweating by just putting on my sandals so I guess it’s gonna be a rather slow moving session.
We did a good session in the park with both sticks and knives. When we pulled out the training knives it was obviously a good entertainment for a lot of folks. There were about 15 people either sitting and watching us, or stopping for a period of time to watch what happened.
After training Gerald presented us with a certificate to acknowledge the training we’ve had together. I nice gesture we appreciated. It’s a good memento to bring back. And to top it all did Gerald bring Katja a nice birthday present: a stick bag. It was very nice and can hold a lot of sticks and blades up to 34 inches. Right now we have no bag with us, so this was very nice of him.
After training we did the taxi game, but got home eventually. No dramas. We stopped just outside of the hotel and got us a portion of grilled baby pig with veggies on the side. Mostly a long way out on the side for my part. With the local headbangers ball as entertainment we ate up, got up, laid down and passed out.
Action first before words.
