Another of Fred’s parkour conditioning classes this morning. I’m still sore as an old man from the last one. How will this work out?
There are others that have blisters and sore bodies apparently. Someone or several have talked about it and we do it inside instead of out on the rougher stone slabs. It’s still hard though, don’t get me wrong, but at least I did not add to the blisters.
After the conditioning we did some meditation and it’s scary how fast time passes by when you’re relatively clear of noise in your mind.
Breakfast and then more training.
After lunch we have no training and some are rolling on a tour of the island, others lay by the pool. While Katja took off with the Tahitian dancers I went down to Kuta in search for five finger shoes. No luck on that, but I had a nice cup of coffee and got a haircut to show for the tour down there. I got a nice Taxi driver back and learned to count to five in Indonesia and some words relating to food. This way it will be easier to know what I order. You know soup vs grilled chicken.

After dinner or friend John gives an excellent presentation on personal finances. Investments for the long term. Everybody was blown away by how well he managed to tell us about things that has been Greek to most of us for a long time. One thing is for sure after that talk: I will not leave our savings in the bank. The way cash has been declining in purchasing power over the years are dramatic. John did a good job showing us the difference in investment vs trading and I’m happy for that. Well done, my friend.
